I’ve been using Good Hands for months. Initially I was barely able to walk and required the use of a walker. With Dr. Rashmi Chavan’s expert guidance, encouragement, and exercise regimen, I’m now on my road to recovery. Quite simply, I’m impressed with her and would reccomend her to anyone looking for a physical therapist. She’s friendly, knowledgable, communicates well and will quickly have you on the road to recovery.

I am so glad that I decided to get treatment for chronic pain in my back in mid-thoracic area. Rashmi is an amazing, thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate physical therapist. Thanks to Rashmi, not only did she made my pain vanish with her broad range of hands on therapy approach but also taught me exercises to keep that pain away. The center is very clean, Patty is very helpful about accommodating and working with your schedule. I would highly recommend Good Hand Physical Therapy.

Booked an appointment because I thought I had tennis elbow. Turned out to be something else but Dr. Rashmi got me on the right track to relief. Very knowledgable and effective. The staff also worked with my annoying insurance company, which had initially tried to deny coverage.

Dr. Rashmi is an unbelievable physical therapist. She provided me with exceptional service and was always very attentive. I came in with severe pain in my elbow, it was so bad that I could not move my arm. In a matter of two months I was completed cured. My elbow doesn’t hurt at all anymore and I am back to my pre injury activity level which I thought I would never be back to. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rashmi to anyone needing physical therapy. You will not be disappointed!

Starting going to Good Hands 2 weeks ago for PT from an ALIFT WITH A FUSHION SURGERY, from the 1st visit Rashmi noticed no care was given to my scar and started on it . I can tell you what a difference in 3 visits. She thought of stuff 2 surgeons never ever mentioned about . I will always be part of the Rashmi and Patty team 🙂
I came to Good Hands PT having experienced chronic pain and laxity in my wrist from an injury. After visiting countless PTs, OTs, Hand Therapists & Orthopedics and having no improvement on my symptoms, I was hopeless and believed that my wrist would never be fully-functional again. It was not until I visited GHPT that I had received an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for my injury. Upon my first visit, Dr. Rashmi performed a thorough examination and customized my treatment plan around the actual problem area. Patti is excellent at administering pain-relieving techniques and handling all billing matters. Most of all, I always felt comfortable at my appointments and received the attention and care I needed. I definitely miss my short-time as a patient at GHPT, but I am so blessed to have healed from my pain in one months time after failing for several months at other facilities.
Dr. Rashmi is an excellent and very skilled therapist. I have been going there for my frozen shoulder, she has helped me tremendously in just a few weeks. She genuinely cares about her patients. And gives you individual attention. You really are in good hands with her.
Highly recommend humble, patient and courteous staff.

Rashmi is treating me for severe osteoarthritis, prior to doube knee replacement surgery. Before treatment, I had severe/chronic pain and weakness, and did not believe I would see any improvement through physical therapy. But Rashmi’s personalized care and attention has made all the difference. The pain has improved and my legs are stronger. I will return post-op for more of her excellent therapy!
- Merideth M.
My experience here has been wonderful. Rashmi is very knowledgeable, provides great information and an excellent treatment plan for her patients. The treatment I have received for my knee has helped to relieve the pain and make my leg stronger. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly (Patty at the desk is so nice and friendly). They have evening hours which is great for those who work.

I decided after being in pain for a while that I see a physical therapist to help me with my specific problem. Rashmi immediately knew that I was suffering from metatarsal joint pain in my second toe. She explained to me the process of ongoing treatments as well as exercises to do at home. It was the best decision I ever made going to Good Hands Physical Therapy. I just wish that I made that decision sooner instead of waiting and hoping that my pain will get better. Rashmi has a gift of being a great healer and that gift is in her hands. Rashmi truly works with you and explains everything as she is treating you and gives you her devoted attention. Rashmi is very compassionate with excellent bedside manners. Patty who is Rashmi’s assistant is a sweetheart and is truly genuine. She is also devoted to helping Rashmi assist with physical therapy needs for a patient and works very hard at it because of her dedication. I would not go anywhere else for my physical therapy needs. If you’re in pain and need physical therapy, do not wait like I did. Go to Good Hands Physical therapy to feel better and be pain free.

Good Hands Physical Therapy really made a difference in helping me get back on my feet and back to work. A forklift injury at work left my foot crushed with four fractures in my foot and ankle and Dr. Rashmi’s knowledge of what it would take to get me back on my feet was the biggest difference in my recovery and my eventual return to work. The exercises and stretches that I learned along with her expert massage and handy work were instrumental to my recovery. I am now walking, running and doing all the activities that I did before the injury and a big thanks goes out to Dr. Rashmi and her staff!

My experience with Good Hands Physical Therapy has been excellent. I would highly recommend her facility for treatment.

I came to Rashmi with TMD. It was unbearable. I was sleeping in pain every night. Even an ENT doctor was unable to help. I read about her services and came to talk to her. I am in the health field and was familiar with some of her techniques, so I decided to give her a try.
Well, my TMD problems have almost completely subsided, and I have voluntarily come to her with additional ailments which I was confident she would be able to fix. I recommend Rashmi so highly and am very pleased to write this for her.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else! Dr. Rashmi is extremely knowledgeable and hands on. She knows where to manipulate your body for maximum results. She is strategic with the exercises she prescribes. She takes her time when she is with you and genuinely cares for her patients and their continued progress. I have been seeing her for a frozen shoulder and my range of motion has increased dramatically under her care. She is a rare find!

Don’t have enough words to thank Dr. Rashmi Chavan for helping me with abdominal pain I was having for 5 months. She’s a skilled professional, very knowledgeable and gives personal attention to her patients. Patty at the front desk is very nice and flexible to schedule the appointments.
Dr. Rashmi’s therapy has been life changer for me. I was having chronic lower abdominal pain for about 5 months. The pain would start as a spasm in the lower right side and would pulsate to the upper right abdomen too. And after a while the spasms would make me very gassy and burpy. I went to many doctors and was checked right from kidney stones to uterine cancers to gastric cancers, with no diagnosis. Fortunately all the tests were negative, but it also made me upset that the doctors couldn’t find a cause to the pain. Only ibuprofen helped, and I was dumping 400mg of ibuprofen every 6 hrs into my body for about 5 months. I wasn’t able to function or perform well at my job. I was getting depressed and often wondered if I would die of this pain without even knowing the cause. Finally fed up, I researched and decided to see Dr. Joseph Parlavecchio, after reading great reviews. Dr. Parlavecchio, in the very first meeting suggested that the pain looks more musculo-skeletal and referred me to Dr. Rashmi Chavan. And I am so GLAD I went to Dr. Chavan. She diagnosed my pain to be ilipsoas muscle problem. Her therapy helped me greatly and I felt relief in just 2-3 sessions. She also taught me many stretches and exercises that I should practice everyday to manage my pain during and after the therapy. Going to her was a great decision I made. She is the best.
Dr Rashmi is an incredible physical therapist with so much knowledge of the body. I came to her in a lot of pain with a degenerated/herniated disc in my lumbar spine, and her treatment has made a world of difference in my life. She is also a kind person who makes everyone in her office feel comfortable and will do anything she can do help her patients. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Rashml is an excellent and very skilled therapist. She has help me tremendously in just a few weeks. The exercises she showed me have help me reduce and get rid of my Back,Neck and Knee pain. She genuinely cares about her patients. And gives you individual attention. You really are in good hands with her.

Rashmi goes well above the job each session and really cares about her patients. She’ll spend extra time breaking up scar tissue (other therapists don’t), knows when to take the treatment a bit slower and when to push a little harder, safely and comfortably, to get results (by no means is she a no-pain, no-gain type), it just feels like she’s been doing this a long time and has an intuitive sense of each patient’s body. Her helper Patty (Pattie?) is great, too, always running around handling everything with aplomb, a super warm, empathetic heart and…this is important…she always returns calls right away and is great with scheduling. It’s a very nice place and inspires a lot of confidence that you can heal gracefully and quickly. Lovely pair.

Rashmi is very good at what she does and really knows what she’s doing. Both Rashmi and Patti make me feel right at home! I recommend 100% this place if you want to live without pain!

After going through Tibial Intramedullary Nailing surgery, my Orthopedic Surgeon had prescribed Physical Therapy for my left foot ankle fracture. Upon researching various physical therapist’s in the area I decided to go with Good Hands Physical Therapy located on route 22 west in Bridgewater, NJ. Right from initial evaluation to P.T and aftercare Dr. Rashmi Chavan and her staff handle my treatment with at most care and professionalism. Dr.Chavan worked on my balancing and improved gait thereby helping me to transition from a walker into using a cane while walking. I was able to mobilize and stretch my ankle while performing my exercise’s prescribed by Dr.Chavan when onsite as well as while doing them at home. With limited number of patients per batch and a warm follow-up also by Ms.Patty at the office administered my faster recovery and healing. I highly recommend Good Hands Physical Therapy and applaud them for their personal one on one attention and professional service. Thank you once again Dr.Chavan and the entire staff at Good Hands Physical Therapy.

Good Hands Physical Therapy, I am going there from few months and amazing result. I believe they accept all insurance…I had pain in neck and right shoulder due to work stress and over use of right hand. Dr. Rashmi identified root cause and treated accurately. Now I am feeling better and gain strength and motion. In past tried others and did not cure or result like this therapist. Its nearby, in same building where Hunterdon Medial center or Social security office is. Also, on ground floor so no hassle to climb steps. Call Rashmi and refer my name, she is best.
Highly recommend humble, patient and Courteous staff.

I wanted you to know the end of the story with respect to my husband Richard.
He pursued the braces you recommended , got them thru Hanger (which is apparently quite a big outfit) and has been wearing them with enormous success for the last month. He has not fallen even once, and wore them on a trip to Atlanta for 10 days (without me) including airports, malls, sidewalks and trains to his complete delight.
The neighbors are all amazed, because in the 42 years we’ve lived in our house, they never saw him outside except for going from the house to the car or back. Now he walks 1/2 hour almost every evening, reveling in his newfound confidence.
Which, I might add, has spilled over into the rest of his personality, making him less introverted, and less isolated. I don’t think even HE knew how thoroughly the not-walking had affected him until it no longer does, and for me it’s a revelation since I met him just after he was in rehab and didn’t know there was so much more happiness in him.
None of this would have happened but for a chance grouching by me to you, and your immediate response of,”there are plenty of things that can help him now!”
So bless you, and thank you for everything you have done for me (6 months of hard work) and for him, by your honesty, intelligence, and expertise. We wish you the very best in your new clinic, and much joy in your future.

Besides improving my range of motion and working on my strength, Rashmi Chavan has addressed my problems with the help of pelvic floor exercises and I am happy to say I am sleeping and not getting up all night long. It makes a big difference in your life when you are not exhausted at the start of your day.
The inflammation and pain that I have in my lower back, that is probably from a break in my coccyx bone, is also doing better and I practice the many exercises Rashmi has given me at home.
The exceptional care that I have received along with the unique stretches, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, soft tissue massage and myofascial release for pelvic floor have made a positive difference and have me looking forward to my next visit. I was quite sad before I went to Rashmi because I saw myself not getting any better but that has changed and I am a lot happier because of her. While I have gone to other physical therapists for shoulder problems and for my lower back, I have never received the level of care or experienced such a positive difference as with Rashmi Chavan.
